Economic and institutional studies

To assist with projects in the water sector, Artelia has developed extensive skills in economic and institutional studies, backed by its ICEA team in the case of international projects. Artelia defines sector policies and introduces institutional schemes, regulatory frameworks and technical-economic regulation systems to ensure the survival and profitability of investments. The consultants of the ICEA team perform all types of study, whether institutional (definition of policies and implementation of sector reforms, private sector participation), organisational (company reorganisation, capacity-building), or economic and financial (demand and willingness to pay studies, project feasibility, financial modelling, service tariffs) to improve the performance and management of public water utilities and ensure the efficiency of the investment made.
