Artelia celebrates its first anniversary

On 30 March 2011, the Artelia group blew out its first candle. It was effectively on 30 March 2010 that Alain Bentéjac and Jacques Gaillard, respective chief executives of Coteba and Sogreah, signed the documents cementing the merger of the two groups under the Artelia banner. These first twelve months under the dynamic impetus of this new group, have confirmed the relevance of the project.

We take this opportunity to thank our clients who, while often being attached to the names of Coteba and Sogreah, have in the vast majority given the thumbs up to this merger and its new corporate identity. The synergies between the two teams have developed at a faster rate than expected and have already led to orders for major projects that will continue to be reported regularly on the website. The historical growth of Coteba and Sogreah has continued through Artelia and the profitability of the new group has been confirmed. The first Artelia annual report, scheduled for publication in June, will give full details of this fruitful trading year.

Artelia’s new web site goes on line

This website will replace the website announcing the merger between Coteba and Sogreah, which has been on line since April 2010 at the same address, as well as the Coteba and Sogreah historical websites, which will stay online but will no longer be updated. Thus, all jobs applications at Artelia must be made via the group’s new website (

In the coming weeks, the site will be bolstered with references from the various companies within the group.
