Thermal and nuclear energy

Artelia does not work on the thermal processes of energy production but offers numerous services connected with utilities at production sites (water supply, effluent and waste management, etc.), industrial and logistics buildings, cooling systems (water intakes and outlets, pumping, risk of heated water recirculation), interactions with the environment and statutory compliance, natural and industrial risk prevention. Artelia is designing the future saline water pumping station (capacity of 370,000 m3/day) and the water intake and sea outfall for Hamriyah thermal power plant (Sharjah, UAE). The operation of the pumps was tested in the hydraulics laboratory in Grenoble. In China, Artelia is acting as consultant to the financial pool and has been appointed to audit the environmental and social accompanying measures for a nuclear power station.
