MARINE RENEWABLE
ENERGY

Artelia was a pioneer in the development of tidal and wave power systems, and continues to support the emergence of marine renewable energy.

OUR SERVICES

Artelia participated in the studies for the Rance tidal power station (France) back in the 1940s, and has been contributing its top-flight marine engineering expertise to projects involving the design and roll-out of MRE ever since.

As well as being involved in deploying offshore wind power, Artelia hence contributes to projects harnessing energy from tides, waves, currents, and differences in temperature across the water column. The Group is a stakeholder in a number of new projects to build tidal power stations and develop wave energy conversion systems. It also helps to build seawater air conditioning systems.

KEY PROJECTS
