TUNNELS

With a long-term background in the design, erection, rehabilitation and deconstruction of civil engineering structures, over the years we have participated in some outstanding projects (for example Normandy bridge, Channel Tunnel, Millau viaduct). 

Today, we continue to be involved in various footbridge, bridge, viaduct and tunnel projects, using our in-depth expertise in each one. Our projects have included underground structures constructed by the cut-and-cover method, retaining structures and complex structures, and we master the specific construction techniques required in the various types of bridge, and the use of the full range of materials (wood, metal, reinforced or prestressed concrete, mixed structures). 

We also develop methodologies and instrumentation systems dedicated to the surveillance and monitoring of civil engineering structures in real time. We have already equipped several bridges in order to measure their structural deformation and identify abnormal behaviour. Using these techniques, maintenance and renovations can be optimised and the risk of an accident considerably reduced.
