Artelia studies, designs and supervises the construction or rehabilitation of a wide variety of hydropower schemes, including large low-, medium- or high-head, run-of-river mini- or micro-power plants, and pumped-storage power plants

Artelia works on all the hydraulic and electrical structures composing such schemes (dams, locks, channels, tunnels, power houses, etc.) and oversees their integration into their host setting (environmental and social impact assessments, creation of infrastructure for access and connection to the electricity grid, irrigation areas, etc.).

Using its cutting-edge physical scale modelling laboratory and its wealth of experience in numerical modelling, Artelia has developed calculation methods for large concrete structures that are operating all over the world.
