Artelia has used its expertise in multidisciplinary engineering and project management in projects involving the creation, renovation and extension of stations, multimodal interchange hubs and linear rail infrastructure (rail tracks, surface and underground civil engineering structures). Within our Group, our rail infrastructure specialists are involved in the role of consultant, project engineer or owner’s consultant.

We participate in the creation of new lines and in various operations for the regeneration and development of rail networks (line modernisation, renovation of structures, transformation of platforms, modification of station locations, bridges, etc.). In France, we work with the national operator, SNCF Réseau, providing assistance as a general owner’s consultant and in the production of technical studies (civil engineering, electrical engineering, etc.).

We also support the organising authorities of regional rail transport services, in the context of competitive bidding and concessions for train lines (writing of specifications, technical advice, assessment of requirements, writing of contracts, etc.).
