We have been involved in designing new projects, upgrading facilities and optimising oil refining plants for more than 50 years, helping our clients to develop their standards. Keeping pace with changing techniques and regulations, we produce dimensional designs for infrastructure dedicated to manufacturing, storing and conveying the various refinery products (liquid, liquefied and gaseous). We also propose solutions to protect facilities, such as fire prevention and safety systems. We work on projects both on- and offshore, tapping into our knowledge of maritime engineering and offshore structures.

In partnership with some of the major players, we are at the forefront of the far-reaching changes currently taking place in the refining sector. We are also taking part in the movement to gradually replace some of the oil used to produce fuels and fractions for the chemical industry with other sources of carbon obtained from biomass, recycled products or carbon capture. Our teams work on projects to convert refineries into biorefineries or pyrolysis plants for recycling plastics, and also contribute to the industrial roll-out of carbon capture facilities, often in conjunction with steel and chemical manufacturing. Some of this carbon could be used to produce synthetic gas or fuels.
