DEVELOP OUR
HUMAN CAPITAL
HEALTH AND SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE: EVERYDAY PRIORITIES
Our health and safety policy is monitored attentively by bodies set up specifically for this purpose, and adjusted continuously in line with the constantly changing socio-economic context and technical and regulatory framework governing our business lines. These bodies keep a close eye on both our office activities and our field assignments, which expose our employees to the specific risks inherent to travelling and work sites. These constant collective efforts are pursuing our goal of reducing our serious accident rate to zero.
In addition to routine actions to train our workforce and raise awareness, our annual Safety Week includes discussion workshops on a variety of workplace health and safety topics such as road safety, working in confined spaces, fall hazards, and opportunities opened up by virtual reality. These workshops are open to the entire Group and organised in partnership with our clients in order to encourage the sharing of experience and best practice.
A LEARNING, LISTENING COMPANY
Looking beyond mere compliance with labour law and statutory dialogue between management and employees, we want Artelia to be a place that stimulates personal and professional development. We hence strive to provide workplaces that promote the well-being of our employees, and to be a learning company capable of supporting them throughout their careers and doing our utmost to meet their needs.
Right from recruitment – an area we are strengthening through closer partnerships with graduate schools of engineering – we offer friendly support and a comprehensive, structured and reassuring path that gives everyone the opportunity to build a meaningful plan. The newly-launched Artelia Academy contributes to this, by promoting career paths within the Group.
FIRM COMMITMENTS TO PROMOTE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
We have been striving for more than a decade to make Artelia an open company that embraces diversity in all it forms: gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, life choices, disabilities, etc. Our diversity and inclusion policy, named “Each & All”, aims to ensure that each individual finds their rightful place, achieves their full potential, flourishes and contributes to the collective purpose, with their visible and invisible differences and in a spirit of mutual respect and trust.
We are delivering on this commitment to inclusion through the actions we take on a daily basis to promote professional integration, keep disabled staff members in employment, maintain the age balance within our workforce, etc. Special efforts are currently being made to promote gender equality in the workplace. We encourage the promotion of women into management and executive positions, and aim to see 40% of Artelia’s senior management roles held by women by 2027.
