CONTEXT & ISSUES
The installation of electric vehicle charging stations to facilitate access to recharging at various locations around the city will increase and diversify the electric transportation offer, developing more options for sustainable, affordable and accessible mobility.
Our Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) team was commissioned to develop concepts for the standardization of electric vehicle charging station layouts, as well as for the design of 10 specific sites. Thanks to our expertise in ITS and our close collaboration with the City of Montreal, our team was able to bring this project to a successful conclusion, taking into account various aspects to ensure harmonious integration of the charging stations into the urban environment, while meeting the City’s specific requirements.
